![]() This is a complete over haul which only put the Japanese line even farther out in terms of both front with strike and fighters now. Our only saving grace was we could spec AS to cover the fleet and still get some damage in: Now the IJN has more fighter squads in both builds and if you end up against 2 IJN CVs in lower tiers you are completely out gunned as the US line. The US line gets absolutely hosed by this change. But the USN CV's could all be dropped to a lower tier plane, be banned from using DFE, and STILL it's fighters 1v1 outperform IJN's in a fight. ![]() ![]() Ranger and Lex are more issues due to fighters being locked and strafed. Case in point, F6F of Inde, 25% chance to down an A6M, the A6M has only a 14% chance to down the F6F every second. THIS has been one of the true issues with CV's and why AS USN was an issue, the fighters are severely unbalanced. The A6M has a 18.3% chance to down the F4F, The F4F has a 21% chance to down the zero, and again, 10 point fighter builds WITHOUT DFE included on USN. And because the DPS is spread out more, USN soaks up the loss better and it's shoot down chance drops slower than IJN's.īogues F4F's are 47-1308, Zuiho's A6M's are 48-1525. And they can now take advantage of DFE, meaning it get's boosted to 23% in combat with the skill. This gives IJN fighters a 18.6% chance per second to down the Essex fighters, Essex fighters have a 20.9% chance to down the planes. Taiho has 80 DPS per plane at 2306 HP, Essex before DFE has 69 at 2142. My Taiho and Essex are fully upgraded for fighters. ![]() As enraged as I am about the CV changes, bit a misinformation in terms of power and tier of IJN vs USN. ![]()
